The Speed Force Max clinic is a collaborative effort between coaches and athletes, focusing on sports-specific methodologies and general exercise science principles, with an emphasis on football. The concept revolves around a well-equipped facility that facilitates three essential training principles for developing well-rounded athletes.
First, it includes an open area or turf for dynamic, movement-based training with a plyometric focus, such as Tsunami Speed Bar work, enhancing field-based athleticism.
Secondly, it incorporates force production exercises outside of the rack, including various weight distribution methods like RPE 7 work, 5-3 RM Work, and 70% work, focusing on power generation with minimal form breakdown.
Lastly, the clinic emphasizes maximal lifts inside the rack, like 1 RM and RPE 9-10 exercises, to test athletes’ power ceilings in a safe environment.
